TCI Sneak Peek: New Features for the 2023-24 School Year

Kickoff the 2023-34 school year with new features in your TCI account. From a new professional development experience to customizable vocabulary cards, there are many exciting new features to start the school year on the right foot.

1. In-App Professional Development

Brush up on TCI’s navigation or grading system with the new In-App Professional Development courses. With these self-paced courses, you can start, pause, and repeat content anytime directly on TCI’s platform. You can earn professional development hours, certificates, and badges at the end of each course.

2. Assessment Library

You can now find all of your program’s assessments in one place through the new Assessment Library. The filters allow you to search for post-tests and pre-tests quickly. Through the library, you can still customize a TCI test to fit your lesson plans or build one from scratch.

3. Customize Vocabulary Cards

TCI’s vocabulary cards help students practice key terms in every lesson. You can customize the vocabulary cards to edit existing definitions, provide examples of how to use each term, and add images. You can even add and remove vocabulary card terms and share them with your students.

4. Expanded Slide Editing

Customize and make TCI slideshows your own with our enhanced editing features. Add images, edit text, create new slides, and take notes with the new slideshow builder. Simply go to the edit icon, make changes, and go to “My Slideshows” to find your customized slideshow.

5. New Video Content

New videos were added over the summer! In the Biography Library, you can find new biography videos that share the life stories of famous historical figures and scientists. You can also teach new video activities for middle school and high school social studies. Peruse your program for more of these interactive, storyline-driven activities.

These are just a few examples of what is coming next year. In addition to these features, you can look forward to more engaging content, new learning libraries, and improved user experience.
