Guided by real teacher feedback, TCI is delivering new features this fall designed to simplify daily routines and better support every learner in the classroom. Every feature this fall addresses something teachers have asked for: more control in the classroom, better support for diverse learners, and less time on assessment prep. Here’s a closer look at each one.
New activity management tools are coming to keep classroom learning on track. Teacher-paced mode allows teachers to guide classes through activities in real time, with students joining in and following along with the slides — less time managing the technology, more time on the teaching.
Supporting differentiation is a top priority at TCI. TCI’s AI-generated leveled reading will provide reading options, grounded in our standards-based, professionally written content. Teachers can choose from multiple grade-level reading options for students, making it easier for learners with varying reading skills to access and engage with the text. Students who used to fall between reading levels will have a closer fit.
The AI question builder lets teachers modify and generate assessment questions directly within TCI. This helps teachers save time, support differentiation, and create questions aligned to standards.
Please note that TCI’s AI features require district-level opt-in. To learn more about TCI’s approach to AI, visit this page.
The new Grades experience is available now. Opt in through Settings to get started, and watch this short video to see what’s new.
Coming this fall, the new Grades experience will also include AI Grading Support. TCI’s AI grading support suggests scores, rationales, and comments for student work, giving teachers a starting point rather than a blank page. Teachers can review, adjust, and finalize all suggestions before anything is shared with students. Like TCI’s other AI features, this one will require district-level opt-in for teacher access.
Watch for additional updates as these features roll out, and keep an eye out for opportunities to provide feedback and help shape future improvements. Work is also underway on updates to reporting and grading — more details to come.
