National Instructional Materials Accessibility Clearinghouse
For all programs published since July 2006, publishers are required to provide textbook
materials digitally in a standardized format (XML) to the National Instructional Materials
Accessibility Clearinghouse (NIMAC). Each state registers with NIMAC, and teachers who want
to use the materials for versions in Braille, digital text, large text, and audio must be
authorized by their school or district to download files.
TCI has sent files for the Student Edition and Lesson Masters to NIMAC for the following program:
History Alive! Pursuing American Ideals
