History Alive! The United States

History Alive! The United States makes U.S. history a palpable experience for middle school students. This survey course follows U.S. history from the nation’s fledgling years through the Great Depression and World Wars to the Civil Rights Movement and contemporary American society. Students ponder the problems of America’s English colonists and gain an understanding of the desperation and hope of turn-of-the-century immigrants.
