Since 1989, TCI has created teaching strategies and materials to allow students with diverse learning styles to “experience” history. Through the TCI Approach, developed by middle and high school teachers who thoughtfully combined educational research with the realities of classroom teaching, we have helped California teachers revitalize their social studies programs.

To address the state standards and the content on the California Standards Test, our middle school suite of core social studies programs has been specifically designed to meet the needs of California teachers.
